Call for Proposals 2024: Lumo Light Festival Oulu

The Lumo Light Festival Oulu, scheduled from Friday 22 to Sunday 24 November 2024, will light up Oulu with creative and innovative light installations. Artists are invited to submit their proposals before March 20, 2024. Details regarding the selection of artists and the locations of the installations will be announced between late October and early November 2024.

The theme for Lumo Light Festival 2024 will be interaction. The organisators encourage applicants to contemplate how to promote and encourage open and respectful dialogue between different points of view and showcase this in their installation proposals.

This annual festival provides a platform for artists to showcase their work in a dynamic urban setting. Artists are asked to submit their proposals by 20 March 2024 using the application form.
