The speaker line up for the Keynote and LAiPS Talks sessions of the “Bringing Life to public spaces with Light Art” international conference taking place in Turin on 2-3 November 2023 has been announced!
Keynote: Dr. Cara Courage, Culture and Place Consultant-Director
Floodlight to spotlight – the big and the small of placemaking
To open the conference, participants will hear from the globally renowned placemaking leader, cultural and creative sector consultant-director and published author Cara Courage. She will offer a definition of placemaking with art & artists as a golden thread. She will illuminate placemaking practices and inspire participants to action.
LAiPS Talks
Inspired by TEDx, the LAiPS Talks are short and inspiring series of 18-minute presentations. A unique line up of international speakers will reflect on their experiences and insights on light art and how it connects to their field of work.
