The Municipality of Tallinn is accepting tenders for the preparation of a lighting plan for the city.

The Tallinn Public Urban Areas Lighting Action Plan 2017–2027 will be a development plan aiming to formulate the design related development principles of urban lighting solutions in the city. It will prioritize the goals provided in the city’s development documents – establish conditions appropriate for sustainable development of a quality, innovative, balanced, and safe public space in terms of outdoor lighting.

The action plan must ensure equal and free access to urban lighting, and determine lighting design principles that are safe, convenient, and functional for all road user groups. Solutions addressed in the action plan must allow for lighting to be used to establish an urban and cultural identity for both the city’s residents and visitors.

The plan must formulate courses of action, measures, and expenses that are top priority in carrying out the relevant goals, proceeding from the city’s development documents and economic opportunities.

To receive the documents required to submit a tender, interested parties are requested to forward a corresponding motivation letter to tarmo.sulg@tallinnlv.ee.

Deadline: 25 April 2016
