The Urban Lighting Workshop is tailored for cities from a specific region of the world. It is an opportunity for urban lighting professionals and decisionmakers to meet, learn from experts, engage in peer-to-peer knowledge, exchange good practices through group discussions, interactive work sessions, networking and site visits.

This event is an annual regional workshop organised by LUCI since 2017. Historically designed and co-organised with the Seoul Metropolitan Government, it has been taking place each year in Seoul, tailored for Asian cities in the LUCI network and beyond.
In 2025, the LUCI Urban Lighting Workshop is organised in Rabat. The Africa Urban Lighting Workshop is co-organised with the City of Rabat and specifically tailored for African Cities.
