About the LUCI Regional Office in Asia (LROA)
In November 2016, the members of the LUCI network adopted the Seoul Declaration of LUCI during the Annual General Meeting in Seoul, South Korea.
Based on the key values of the Strategic Plan, the Seoul Declaration marked a significant new step in the development of the LUCI network and included the establishment of the first LUCI Regional Office, one for Asia, in the city of Seoul.
The LUCI Regional Office in Asia (LROA), established in 2017, now supports a more balanced regional development of LUCI and reflects the lighting culture and identity of Asian cities in the global conversation on urban lighting.
LROA is managed by a Technical Coordinator, Mr. Seongok YANG, employed by the Seoul Metropolitan Government.
