PLUS to organize conference on energy efficiency

After detailed studies of the public lighting strategies of each one of the 10 PLUS partner cities, the project is now entering a new phase focused on capitalization. Drawing from the knowledge accumulated during the Deep Dive meetings and visits, the PLUS project will, in particular, be organizing a conference on energy efficiency in lighting during the Sustainable Energy Week (18 – 22 June 2012) in Brussels.

The conference, which will address issues such as optimizing energy consumption in public lighting especially in relation to LEDs, aims to raise awareness on sustainable urban lighting strategies at the EU level, one of the key objectives of the project.
