Leipzig to sign the LUCI Charter on Urban Lighting

The City Council of Leipzig has officially validated the LUCI Charter on Urban Lighting, meaning that the city will soon be among the 32 other signatory cities.
To mark this occasion, Leipzig, which first initiated the concept of the Charter and which now leads the LUCI Commission on the Charter on Urban Lighting, will host a press conference on the 1st of July 2011.
The Charter being one of the guiding documents of the PLUS project, the city has also planned to combine this conference with its first Regional Forum within the PLUS framework.
