Conference – “Smart lighting for smart cities”

Becoming a smart city is the ambition of many a city seeking to draw new investors and residents, develop innovation, and improve the quality of life for their citizens. Urban lighting is one of the stepping stones to this ambition. Smart, connected lighting not only enables cities to become more energy efficient, more responsive and adaptable to citizens’ needs, it can also promote sustainable mobility, and help urban spaces become safer and more comfortable. How can cities bring additional services and infrastructure through smart lighting systems to improve quality of life? What are the challenges they face today?
