Light.Move.Festival. Łodź was created as an artistic and cultural event with the purpose of presenting well-known public spaces in a completely new way to citizens, tourists, and to the local government. The main purpose is to change the perception of the city image and bring positive energy into citizens’ lives. The artistic video projections involved refer to the identity of the city – its foundation, history, multiculturalism, architecture and contemporary development. The festival also promotes innovative and environment-friendly lighting solutions. In 2017, Łodź was visited by more than 700,000 people from all over the world, which made it the biggest festival of lights in Poland. The 2022 edition took place on September 23-25.
