Join the Light in the City event in Tartu this May
The event is organised as part of the Light in the City project funded by the Europe for Citizens programme which aims to encourage the construction of a quality urban environment and to boost citizens’ knowledge on urban lighting.
Highlights of this Light in the City seminar include keynote speaker Roope Siiroinen, as well as a Guerrilla Lighting session that will temporarily transform the streets of Tartu through light.
Another major part of the event will be the “Nordic Light” portfolio viewing, which will feature presentations from 21 Scandinavian light artists, as well as a panel discussion on the meaning of light.

About Light in the City
The two year “Light in the City” project includes the cities of Jyväskylä (Finland), Eskilstuna (Sweden), Hasselt (Belgium) and Tartu (Estonia), with LUCI as associated communication partner.
