From the airport to Helsinki city centre (45 min)

 

 By public transport:

Finnair City Bus is the fastest bus service between Helsinki city centre and Helsinki airport. The fastest route is always chosen according to traffic conditions. The trip from Helsinki Centre Eliel square (next to the Central Railway Station) to the airport takes about 30 minutes. On the way to the airport the bus stops only at the Hesperia park stop (near the Scandic Park hotel), about 3 minutes after departure. On the way to the city the bus stops on request at different bus stops.Tickets can be purchased beforehand online from Pohjolan Liikenne. The online ticket fare is 6,20 €. When booking the City Bus tickets online, please use these stops in your search: Helsinki Centre Eliel square & Helsinki Airport T1 or T2. Tickets can also be bought from the driver onboard the bus. The one way fare for the Finnair City Bus when bought onboard is 6,30 €. Payment is accepted in cash or with most common credit cards.

Regular bus service

Shuttle service 615 connects Helsinki Central Train Station with the airport. In Helsinki, the bus leaves from Rautatientori, platform 3. From the airport, the bus leaves from terminal T1, platform 2 and terminal T2, platform 21. The bus runs every 8–45 minutes on weekdays, at weekends every 12–50 minutes. The total travel time is about 40 minutes. A regional ticket is required for journeys from Helsinki to the airport and vice versa. Purchase your ticket from a ticket machine or driver.

By taxi:

A typical journey from city centre locations to the airport will cost between 35 € to 40 € and will take roughly 30 minutes.
