General introduction – outdoor lighting in Helsinki

This presentation will introduce the larger scope of the outdoor lighting process of the fast growing Helsinki City: from analysis of the lighting needs to general planning, through to implementation and, finally, maintenance. Efforts have been made to take advantage of the opportunities provided by the newest lighting and information technologies in order to save Helsinki’s broad historical lighting and to automate the processes and data management.
