Help Lyon design a new permanent light art installation !
Permanent works of light & art can transform the public space. The LUCI Light & Art Co-Creation Project will start with a first workshop aiming to help the City of Lyon implement a light & art installation in the newly developing Feuillat park.
City lighting professionals, lighting designers, artists, students and all interested individuals are invited to contribute their ideas in this co-creation workshop with the Lyon Public Lighting Department and get hands-on experience in designing solutions integrating light and art in the public space.
This workshop will include:
- Explanation of the context – Lyon’s vison and needs for Feuillat park
- Workshop brief
- Team session – designing a concept for a light & art installation in Feuillat park
- Concept presentation by teams

Connections are increasingly being made between permanent and event lighting, two originally distinct subjects. Participants in the round table – lighting designers and city representatives – will answer these two questions:
- How do the stakeholders and disciplines of permanent and temporary lighting design influence each other?
- How do permanent and event lighting connect in city lighting policies?
