10:00 – 12:00: Public Lighting in Tartu
This Tartu City session will focus on both street lighting and public architectural lighting. Deputy Mayor Raimond Tamm will share an overview of the new master plan for the public lighting of the city of Tartu and lighting planning in the city more generally. Tiiu Kelviste, Head of Geospatial Solutions, and Jaanus Tamm, Project Manager, will introduce the current state of Tartu street lighting, ongoing and planned projects, and the Tartu street lighting management solution. Elo Liiv will focus on architectural lighting in Tartu.

Cities are confronted with the question of how to deal with developments toward smart lighting. How can we help cities form their vision on smart lighting, choose their development paths, and support possible actions towards realisation?

The OCS are are organised in parallel tracks where each presentation lasts 15 minutes. A Q&A follows the full session for questions from in-person and online participants.

This is the opportunity for LUCI members to learn about the network’s ongoing and future activities. Upcoming events, projects and new perspectives will be presented.

The newly formed LUCI Light Festival Working Group will meet in Tartu to share and exchange about challenges and innovations in the field.

09:30: Bus departure from Lydia Hotel to Estonian National Museum
Join programme participants to discover Tartu in a new way: choose from a scooter tour of the city or a guided tour of the Estonian National Museum. The programme will conclude with a convivial lunch at the museum.
