Practical Information

The Lyon Creative Lighting Forum takes place in Lyon, the third largest city in France, renowned for its rich historical heritage, its world-famous gastronomy (it’s the culinary capital!) and a vibrant cultural scene, that includes the Fête des Lumières.

CLF Venues

Participants will be welcomed at these locations:

Day 1 Lyon Creative Lighting Forum

Villa Gillet

Parc de la Cerisaie – 25 Rue Chazière, 69004 Lyon
Easily accessible by bus C13 from Gare Part-Dieu (station) or Cordeliers (city center) – Bus stop: Clos Jouve

The Villa Gillet is a European and international house for contemporary writing. A place of encounter and creation, it gives voice to writers, thinkers, and artists to make literature and it is a laboratory for reflection on practices related to speech, and debate. The Villa is located in the historic Croix-Rousse district that overlooks the city, providing a spectacular panoramic view over Lyon’s rooftops. It’s the district where the history of the Canut silk weavers began, making the city the capital of silk-making.
