- Self-guided Visit
Between the first powered aircraft designed in secret in the town of Muret by Clément Ader, and the first flight of the A380, flagship of the European aviation industry, in the skies of Blagnac, more than a century has passed. Here, in the birthplace of global civil and military aviation, the players and witnesses of this industrial, technical and human saga, as well as those who love aircraft and love to fly, have strived for this history to be forever remembered and shared. Aeroscopia, the aviation museum, aims to preserve this historical heritage.
And/Or
- Guided Tour: Discover the Airbus 380 and the new Airbus 350 assembly site
Please note that given the exceptional character of this industrial visit, you will be asked to register and provide copy of IDs before Thursday 3 May. List of participants will be submitted for national security approval.
Participants registered for this guided tour will take a shuttle from the Museum to the Airbus Assembly Site.
The site is entirely dedicated to final assembly and flight preparations of the A380. It occupies an area of 50 hectares, including a 10-hectare assembly hall. The Airbus A380 tour will reveal all the secrets of the world’s only true double-decker, from the design stage through to its commercialisation.
