Deadline extended : call for abstracts for the 7th Lux Pacifica conference

The 7th Lux Pacifica Conference, entitled « Cultural Lighting » will be held from the 6th to the 8th of March 2013 at the Imperial Queen’s Park Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand.

The Lux Pacifica is the quadrennial lighting conference of the lighting societies of North America (USA, Canada & Mexico), Australia and New Zealand, China, Japan, Thailand, Hong Kong, South Africa, Russia and India. It aims to provide an opportunity for lighting researchers and designers to present their ideas to an international audience.

The upcoming conference will be hosted by the Illuminating Engineering Association of Thailand (TIEA) in collaboration with King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) and Srinakharinwirot University (SWU).

Abstracts, in English, of about 250 words are invited and a template can be downloaded from www.tieathai.org. Abstracts must be sent via email to luxpacifca2013@gmail.com.

Important dates:

• deadline of abstract submission extended to 30 September 2012
• notification of abstract acceptance 31 October, 2012
• deadline for full paper submission 30 December, 2012
• notification of full paper acceptance 15 January , 2012
