Conference on Light, Art, the Universe and Everything at Lumiere Durham
The Lumiere Durham light festival taking place from 12 to 15 November 2015 will include a conference on Light, Art, the Universe and Everything on 13 November.
The Lumiere Durham conference, under the patronage of UNESCO and inspired by the organisation’s International Year of Light 2015, will bring together local, UK and international experts and pioneers working across medicine, culture, technology, the environment, religion, architecture and education.
Speakers include writer and broadcaster Rosie Boycott, visual artist Daniel Canogar, non-profit solar lighting entrepreneur Illac Diaz and brain cancer researcher Dr Jim Olson and Director of the Fête des Lumières in Lyon Jean-François Zurawik.
