Madrid, the capital of Spain, is a modern and vibrant metropolis with a population of more than 3 million. Its history dates back to Roman and Visigoth times, and over the centuries, it has witnessed Muslim and Christian conquest.
In the 16th century, Madrid was established as the permanent capital of Spain. The city is home to world-renowned museums, such as thea Prado Museum, and is full of iconic symbols such as the Royal Palace and Gran Vía.
In addition, “El Paseo del Prado and Buen Retiro, landscape of arts and sciences”, green oasis in the heart of the city, it has been declared World Heritage by UNESCO. Madrid is a place where culture, gastronomy and nightlife are intertwined in a fascinating way.
