Madiun Regency is one of the regions in the East Java Province, Indonesia. In 2015, Madiun Regency moved the capital to Caruban. From 2015 until now, Madiun Regency has continued to build Caruban City to improve its comfort, security and beauty at night.
In 2023, Madiun Regency has successfully implemented a PPP project to provide 7,459 points of street lighting equipment, of which 2,000 are smart street lighting devices. With LED technology and smart systems, street lighting becomes energy efficient and also increases the safety and comfort of road users.

The Madiun Regency Government uses the PPP scheme to provide 7,459 points of Street Lighting Equipment. With this PPP scheme, we can guarantee street lighting services to the community for 10 years with parameters of reliability in terms of energy savings and fast response in the event of a failure. Through this PPP scheme, we have experienced electricity payments reduced by 60% compared to previous electricity bills.
