Several opportunities are open for applications:
1. Fête des Lumières call for projects
Are you an independent artist or part of a collective, a student, an emerging creator, or an established artist? Whether you are affiliated with an association, an institution, or a company, and whether you are based in Lyon (France) or elsewhere—this call for projects is for you!
Selected projects may receive funding through City of Lyon grants (for associations) or sponsorship (for associations or companies).
We are looking for artists whose work focuses on light, through object-based formats, installations, or experimental pieces. We welcome contemplative, participatory, interactive, or immersive projects that creatively transform public spaces—primarily outdoors, but sometimes indoors as well.

2. Major festival sites available via public tenders
Three major sites of the Fête des Lumières will be part of public tender processes to ensure their artistic programming. The tenders will be published soon on the City of Lyon’s public procurement website, with exact dates to be announced.
The sites included in the public tenders are:
- Quai de Saône
- Place des Terreaux
- Saint-Jean Cathedral
Important:
- Applications must be submitted exclusively via the City of Lyon’s buyer profile platform.
- Emailed applications will not be accepted (any submission by email will be automatically rejected).
- The full list of required documents is detailed in the consultation regulations.
