Call for concepts – Amsterdam Light Festival
The Amsterdam Light Festival invites artists, designers, engineers and architects to submit ideas for art works for its 2015 – 2016 edition.
The festival’s theme this year is “Friendship”, aiming to celebrate Humanity, and light as a universal language of expression.
Art works that express an understanding of the importance of friendships across Europe, and of the way the continent has become more and more united over the past 50 years, are particularly welcome.
The festival will once again include the ‘Water Colors’ boat tour, comprising of larger, colourful, monumental works along the canals, as well as the ‘Illuminade’ walking route, which offers a platform for talent, experimentation, interaction and mixed forms of art and digital technology.
The deadline for submissions is 25th of March 2015.
