Registrations open for the Seoul Asia Urban Lighting Conference

The Seoul Metropolitan Government (SMG) is hosting, in South Korea’s capital, the Seoul Asia Urban Lighting Conference, from the 30th to the 31st of October.
Now as a partner, LUCI continues to support an event that, since 2017, we’ve helped design and organise in collaboration with SMG, and that has become a source of inspiration for the region, bringing together cities and lighting professionals from across Asia and beyond to advance our shared vision of urban lighting.
Building on the success of the former Asia Urban Lighiting Workshop, the event expands in 2025 under a new name — the Seoul Asia Urban Lighting Conference.
The theme for 2025 — “Lighting Cities, Shaping Culture: Innovation and Identity” — will guide discussions on how urban lighting can be a driver of cultural identity, innovation, and global cooperation.
Nighttime culture, civic engagement, lighting policy, AI and IoT, light pollution, light festivals, media art, and spatial design – these fields will be covered through engaging presentations and sessions led by international experts.
