Seoul, Gothenburg and Lyon were elected to join the LUCI Executive Committee during the AGM 2011 in Gothenburg.

In an election during the General Assembly Meeting on the 17th of November 2011, members selected three new cities to join the LUCI Executive Committee.  The cities of Seoul (South Korea), Gothenburg (Sweden) and Lyon (France) were named as the new EC members.

The election, a major step in the governance of the network, was held in accordance with the new LUCI statutes established at the 2008 AGM in San Luis Potosi which stated that three of the nine EC member cities would be replaced this year.
