Send in your projects for the Lyon Light Festival 2015!

The City of Lyon is looking for bright ideas and new projects for the next Lyon Light Festival, taking place from the 5th to the 8th of December 2015.

Artists from various disciplines within the lighting profession are invited to use the city as their canvas, and convert its public spaces using light as their means of expression and creation.

There are two categories of projects:

(i) City centre projects
A call for projects for nine sites in the city centre has been published  here (in French).
Deadline: 12 noon Monday, May 11

An additional call for 3 other major sites in the city centre (the Hôtel de Région, the Bellecour square, and the Fourvière hill) can be seen here.
Deadline: 12 pm Tuesday  28 May

(ii) District projects
Projects, installations, activities or other shows can also be proposed for the districts beyond the city centre.
Projects in these arrondissements should be interactive, convivial, warm and festive. The arrondissements are sites where light experiments are carried out; they contribute to the emergence of new artists.
The call for luminous ideas is available upon request from: fdl.arrondissements@mairie-lyon.fr
