Exhibitions and fairs

LUCI is partner or supporter of the following exhibitions and fairs:

Light+Building

LUCI will be organising a guided tour of the Light+Building fair in Frankfurt on the 18th of April 2012.  Light+Building (15 - 20 April 2012), the world’s biggest forum for architecture and integrated building-services technology, brings roughly 2 100 companies to present their innovations to over 180 000 trade visitors from around the world. CapUrba
CapUrba (5 - 7 June 2012), the city planning and urban project trade fair in Lyon (France), offers professionals and representatives of local and regional authorities a unique opportunity to think, build and develop urban spaces for a city.

Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition

LUCI will once again be participating in the Lighting Design Gallery at the Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition (GILE), Asia’s largest lighting industry forum. This year’s edition will take place from the 9th to the 12th of June 2012 in Guangzhou, China.

Conferences

LUCI organises conferences and meetings in partnership with its member cities and associated members:

December 2012 in Lyon (France)
“Rencontres de la Lumière”
Every year the Lyon Light Festival welcomes the “Rencontres de la Lumière” conferences organized in collaboration with LUCI. These meetings provide a forum for discussions on the theme of urban lighting and associated social and environmental issues. The 2011 edition, which welcomed over 160 participants, focused on the theme "Lighting and bringing the city to life with the inhabitants" with examples of social lighting from around the world.
