The “Narracje – Interventions and Installations in Public Space” Festival is a presentation of large scale projections on buildings and all kinds of creative, innovative and unusual artistic activities taking place in the public space of the city. The curator of the past three editions of the Festival was Bettina Pelz.

The first edition of the Festival (2009) enveloped the heart of Gdańsk and presented visual works based on the technology of light on selected buildings and inside city galleries. The second edition of the Festival (2010), entitled Lost and Found, took place in less obvious locations of the Main Town – courtyards, archaeological excavations, in the vicinity of construction sites. The third edition of the Festival, entitled Nature of the City, was held between 17 and 20 November 2011 and moved mainly into the heart of the Lower City of Gdańsk.

In 2012 the Festival will explore the area of the real Old Town adjacent to the Main Town, with its separated historical parts: Osiek and Zamczysko, located between the Main Town and the Gdańsk Shipyard, as well as the area of the Shipyard itself.
