Gwangju’s World Photonics Expo 2009: LUCI members are invited to participate in the international World Light City Pavilion

LUCI members are invited to apply for a booth at this unique international lighting forum.

With the AGM taking place from the 19th - 22nd October 2009 in the heart of the World Photonics Expo (Gwangju, Korea), organisers have created a 1,210m2 space dedicated entirely to LUCI members in which they can present their lighting projects, masterplans and events.

The event, managed by Gwangju Int'l Photonics-Expo Foundation, is an opportunity for members to share knowledge, experience and ideas as well as promoting their cities and organisations to an international audience. Organisers are anticipating welcoming around two million visitors.

In order to encourage maximum LUCI member involvement, the foundation is offering to cover international travel costs and up to ten nights hotel room accommodation for one person per member. The foundation is also offering financial and on-site support for booth installation, marketing and promotion.

Participants are invited to choose from a variety of booths and displays which will be presented in the World Light City Pavilion throughout the month long duration of the expo.

‘The presence of representatives from LUCI cities is of such importance that it is indispensable in terms of assuring quality content and a successful exhibition’, explains one of the organisers.
