LUCI is glowing with the success of its last Annual General Meeting in Gwangju (South Korea)

With 110 participants from 25 city municipalities and numerous private organisations from across the globe, the LUCI Annual General Meeting reinforces its vocation as the biggest international forum on public lighting.

LUCI members were offered a very warm welcome by the City of Gwangju, who organised a program demonstrating the city’s capacity to become a leader in the photonics industry by the year 2015.

‘This year’s Annual General Meeting saw a record breaking number of participants from all corners of the globe gather in Gwangju to share ideas and broaden their perspectives in the lighting domain’, said Jean-Michel Daclin, Deputy Mayor of Lyon and President of LUCI Association, ‘it shows the dynamism of our network and the affirmation of the LUCI AGM as the most important annual meeting for cities interested in lighting’.

LUCI is now looking forward to next year’s Annual General Meeting taking place from 16th to 20th September 2010 in Chartres (France)!
