Illuminating Montreal’s Monument-National: the Quartier des spectacles unveils the latest addition to its lighting plan
On 16th October 2009, the spotlight will be on the Quartier des spectacles (Montreal) as the new architectural and dramatic illumination of the Monument-National is unveiled.
The inauguration will begin with animation and bar-service from 17.30 and the lights will be switched on at 19.00.
The lighting installation has been designed in the frame of the Quartier des spectacles’ lighting plan which aims to reveal the abundance of Montrealean culture in a single glance at the same time as creating a strong sense of identity in the area.
The lighting design of the Monument-National is by Axel Morgenthaler (Photonic Dreams) and the artistic direction is by Intégral Ruedi Baur and Intégral Jean Beaudoin.
