Pierre Fortin is nominated General Director of the Quartier des spectacles Partnership
On Monday 6th April, Charles Lapointe, President of the administration council for the Quartier des spectacles Partnership (Montreal), announced the nomination of Pierre Fortin as General Director.
The selection committee was composed of three members of the Partnership and a representative from the City of Montreal.
‘The committee’s decision was unanimous, Mr Fortin stood out for his understanding of the different stakes involved in the development of the Quartier des spectacles and his clear vision of the next challenges to be conquered’, said Charles Lapointe.
Mr Fortin has solid experience in management and marketing communications. As Vice-President of marketing at la Société du Vieux-Port de Montréal from 2001 to 2008, he piloted the re-branding of the Centre de sciences and the Quais du Vieux-Port.
Since Pierre Deschênes left the post in June 2008, the position was temporarily filled by Director of Development, Anjali Mishra.
‘I would like to highlight the remarkable work that she has achieved in the last few months, with the support of the Partnership team’, Charles Lapointe declared.
