LumiVille Lighting Design Awards 2009: Competition entries to be submitted from now until the 20th of April 2009
Entries are now being accepted for the LumiVille independent lighting designer awards 2009.
The competition organised by LumiVille, ACE and the City of Lyon will award four separate designers for projects which demonstrate artistic, innovative and economic values.
Over the past 20 years, lighting has developed both functionally and aesthetically and the work of talented lighting designers is now at the forefront of the lighting industry. This international competition aims to distinguish and reward lighting designers who created exceptional exterior or interior installations during 2008.
A prize of 3000€ will be awarded to one individual each of the four categories: the architectural lighting prize, the public space lighting prize, the young lighting designer prize and, for the first time in 2009, the ‘InLight Expo’ prize for interior space.
The award ceremony will take place during the ACE evening at the LumiVille and InLight trade fair on Wednesday 27th May.
